How The Time Sure Does Fly By!

I cant believe that the time has just flown by us so quickly! Tomorrow Kyson will be 4 weeks and then on Thursday the 15th he'll be a month old already. It just seemed like yesterday that we just had him and now he's already a month and he has now outgrown all his preemie clothes. He is such a joy to have, I couldn't imagine my life with out him now. The past four weeks have been very interesting and very full filling. You've heard that saying that you wish you could sleep like a baby. Well who ever said that has never had kids apparently. I have now had the experience of knowing what every mother has gone through with getting up at all hours of the night to take care of a baby. I have now become a light sleeper and am jumping up to check on him with every noise he makes. I'm surprised that I'm still functioning and able to take care of myself let alone a new born baby. Ok so the me part has been slacking but I would rather make sure Kyson is taken care of before me so I'm ok with it. Rhett and I are so happy with our new bundle of joy and just love the little tike so much. Who knew you could love someone so endlessly.
Already we have taken Kyson to Dr. Dewitt's office twice. First one for his well baby check up and everything went great and Dr. Dewitt is jealous of Kyson's hair.Only for the fact that Dr. Dewitt is bald. The second one was for Kyson to get circumcised. Pour little guy was hurting for a few days after that got done. Other then that he has been such a good baby except for the occasional belly aches from gas and getting constipated once.
Today I had my check up with Dr. Tindall and everything went great. My blood pressure is now back down to normal and he said my incision looks great and that mine is how he would like all his incisions to look like. I told him that I'm very pleased with the way it looks and that he did an awesome job. He told me that I had a great surgeon and I told him that I truly did have a great one.
Other than that life here as been great so far and I cant wait to see what the next couple months will bring. We will keep you updated as things happen.

I know it's hard to do and you've probably heard it, but the best advice I received was sleep when the baby sleeps. it's the best way to catch up on the sleep.
